Kitzbühel is famous not only in Austria but all over the world because of the various sports within the town especially during the winter. These sports are played between the Hahnenkamm Mountains and the Kitzbühler Horn. Hahnenkamm is famous for hosting the races for the World Cup Skiing which is held every year.
The downhill race which takes place at the Streif slope is especially very popular and attracts spectators from all over the world. The downhill race is popular because it is very tough and risky but also very interesting. During summer, this town hosts ATP tennis tournaments. The town is also popular for the Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye which is an historic annual motor racing festival.
